Appearance: Standing at 172 cm (5'8) with bright and alert expression, any individual could easily identify Martin as an overall happy being. While he is of average height for a young man of his age, the Argentine has a built that tends to be more on the leaner side. He could be defined as being lanky because of his thin build, lucky for him he's actually muscular beneath his thin appearance and his body physique can be viewed as attractive by most who meet him.
His hair is a bright bombshell blonde and slightly shaggy, though he regularly trims it in the event of when it does grows too long. He regularly keeps up with his scalp and hair health, shampooing and conditioning frequently, as well as styling it to perfection. Martin has a long, angular face with a youthful to it and a bright pair of teal eyes that hold a certain charm to them; eyes belonging to a confident, spirited and joyful soul. Its never rare to see a smile on his face without a reason. His skin complexion is fair, nothing extraordinary. While most coming from North America and Europe see it as just that, his complexion is quite pale for the usual Latin standard.
As a result of his somewhat wealthy upbringing, Martin knows fashion and is always keeping track of what's "in" and what isn't. His wardrobe is full of expensive, name brand clothing consisting of just about everything that a male like himself would normally sport. Graphic T-Shirts, dress shirts, polo shirts, cardigans, flannels, sports jackets, scarves, jeans, khakis...you name it, he has just about everything. Though Martin really has no problem wearing a simple t-shirt, jeans and sneakers on casual days, but he can dress to impress when he wants to. Professional, smooth and an aura of confidence--that's how Martin Hernandez can be.
Martin regularly keeps up with his hygiene and prides himself in appearance, believing that he is quite the handsome sapien. In short, he's a pretty boy.

Mate || Another cultural habit, Martin loves his mate. Drinking it all the time, whether he'd be relaxing at home on his couch, during class, or out on the go--its no surprise to see him with a mate gourd in his grasp, casually sipping along.
His Maradona Plush || A plush doll of the greatest soccer player ever, Diego Maradona, the doll originally belonged to his father and later gave it to his son when he was a young boy. Nowadays, he uses it as a good luck charm whenever he plays soccer, or any crucial event in his life.
Argentine Pride || Martin is the kind of guy who would scream like an idiot or paint his face dyed with the colors of the Argentine flag during a sports event or national holiday. To simply put it, Martin views his homeland as the greatest nation on Earth, to the point of extreme arrogance and ignorance when it comes to other cultures and countries, easily boasting about his mother nation and showing little knowledge for culture and tradition outside his own sphere of influence.
Gossip || Being the nosy chatterbox that he is, when Martin hears a good piece of interesting news, he is going to spread it to until everyone in town knows. He also makes it priority to hang out with fellow gossipy mouths, talking for hours about interests that aren't any of their business.
Gaucho Culture || His ancestors and his grandfather were gauchos. Tincho recalls the early days when he used to visit his abuelo's ranch out near the Pampas and sample those days as a young Argentine cowboy. It was truly a pity when he passed away. To this day, he loves reading up and studying the cowboy ways of his forefathers.
Anything Trendy/New || When it comes to new gadgets and trends, Martin is like a little kid on Christmas morning. He easily picks up on new fashions and trends, always overspending and destroying his credit cards, just to simply improve his image.
Mafalada Comics/Cartoons || Martin has been reading the comics since he was a child, they're funny and amusing and not to mention highly realistic about Argentine society.
Dramas || Martin is a sucker for dramatic television shows and movies, optics never leaving the screen. Even real life drama tends to keep him highly amused, often forgetting that he should probably act to assess the situation instead of taking a bystander role.
Dulce De Leche || His favorite dessert and life source for his sweet tooth, he can't go through a dinner without his precious caramel delight.
The News || The only way to keep updated in the big wide world, Martin is never one to miss updates on TV, the newspaper, his phone app, whatever--not to mention that he does like to scream about latest events at the most inappropriate of times. [/ul]
Dislikes:
Losing || Let's just say the Argentine isn't one who takes losing well, at all. Whether it be at a friendly soccer match or watching his favorite sports team playing, he'll either a) Be in a state of shock for hours. b)Cry. or c) Play it off as nothing and deny that he lost, and knows that he should have won.
Superstition/Fantasy || Quite honestly, Martin finds the notion of anything mythical or magical quite dumb. He would honestly rather spend his time doing other things that wouldn't require thinking such thoughts.
Smoking || Its a nasty and disgusting habit. Being a student of medicine, Martin can't comprehend how people could just simply destroy their bodies like that. Plus, the smoke smells terrible.
Having To be Serious/Sentimental || As a life philosophy, Martin finds life too short to waste on being too rigid, and hates scenarios where he finds himself doing so. He's also not the kind of boyfriend that would be romantic and take a girl on a date. A soccer game or a fighting match is much more ideal for him. [/ul]
Interests/Hobbies:
Sports || During his schooling years, Martin was what most would call a jock. Though soccer was (And still is.) his specialty, the Argentine also loves swimming, basketball, tennis and volleyball, an expert in all these fields.
Dancing || Martin's mother always insisted that he should stay cultured in the field of dancing, and that is what he became. A master with his feet and moves, he can charm any girl
Flirting || Rephrase that, Martin doesn't flirt--he catcalls. If one isn't disgusted by his attempts to woo a cute girl, he'll show his more friendlier and chivalrous side. Though be advised, if your a female that truly captures his attention, he'll chase and pursue them without giving up.
Medical Studies || His major, and what his nation is known for. Inspired by his father, Martin finds the world of medicine intriguing and fascinating.
Comedy || They say laughter is the best medicine, and what better art to interpret in than the form of stand-up comedy. On the weekends, Martin takes stage as a comedian at the local clubs and the community center. He loves making people laugh, not to mention its an excellent way to make some money for his abuela and himself. [/ul]

To Start a Family || Though his pride won't admit it, Martin really does want to eventually settle down with a spouse; not to mention father a few children of his own, and become a family man. But this is a goal he aspires to achieve far in the future. He is aware that he's still too young to search for permanent love and would prefer to enjoy his bachelorhood while he can.
To Return Home || Martin loves his mothering nation, and firmly believes that its the best country on Earth. As fun as France is, he really does miss the lively and busy streets of Buenos Aires. [/ul]

Heartbreak || Beneath that confident and arrogant air he carries himself in, Martin is very sensitive when it comes to romantic attachment, and while he's had his fair share of breakups in the past, its never a great experience for anyone.

Personality: Upon first impression, most could individualize Martin as an cheerful and energetic young man. His default mood appears to be that of happiness, if nothing is bothering him at the present moment he'll present himself in that manner. Towards strangers, he typically acts friendly, charming and well-mannered, the kind of guy you would like to know better. When it comes to friends, family and even not so familiar acquiantances, Martin will act boisterous, with little regard for the personal space of others.
To accompany his normally optimistic attitude, the Argentine has quite the ego and is very vain about his appearance. To put it shortly, Martin views himself as the most attractive person that has walked on the face of the Earth, but who can blame him? Putting into consideration his spoiled and catered backstory, its no wonder why he has this mentality sealed into his brain. Unfortunately this one of his most prominent negative traits, not only does he view himself as a womanizer, but he is usually only interested in people that are attractive in his eyes. He really only pays attention to physical looks before the inner beauty of an individual. Along with his usual overconfidence, Martin believes he is an ace at just about everything he puts his mind to and, as you can imagine is a horrible sport when it comes to losing. It just doesn't exist in his vocabulary. He is extremely stubborn in foreign opinions that contradict his own, almost always insisting that he is correct and its nearly impossible to convince him otherwise. He is also the jealous type, Martin can't stand for being the third wheel in any gathering and loves the being the center of attention; or at least receiving some sort of praise. If he isn't, he'll usually pretend to be in a surly mood until he gets the attention he rightfully deserves. Of course, he'll never openly admit his jealousy.
Another obvious trait about Martin is how patriotic he is concerning his native land, resulting in ignorance when it comes to other cultures and lifestyles outside of his own; at times coming off as insensitive and offensive to others without even realizing it. He can be quite clueless and oblivious at times, especially when he is unwilling being mean. Though Martin isn't that much of a jerk to consider hurting someone intentionally...not without a reason at least. The Argentine is also known to be quite the drama queen, particularly when something doesn't happen in his favor. That's when he begins to behave like a small child instead of an adult, even for the silliest reasons he'll throw a fit until he gets what he wants. He's not used to being rejected anything, which would be a reasonable explanation for his behavior.
In part with being Latin, the Argentine doesn't have or believes in active, fast-paced lifestyle. He doesn't usually makes promises to meet certain deadlines and when he does he'll sure as hell take his time arriving to meet them. With the exception of a few things, Martin would rather not invest himself in hard work and would take the easy route in life if he could. While Martin enjoys taking life easy, he can not stand for being bored. That is an absolute no. He needs to be engaged in order to function or at least in the company of others. While he may be shallow, he truly does care about others as much as he may deny it. He is also willing to try anything new and interesting, despite what others may say. His love of fun is what makes him a goofy person, life is too short to be a stick in the mud, so why not enjoy it instead? He tries to spread this philosophy onto the others, especially through comedy. His main reason for being a comedian, he loves making people laugh and nothing makes his day like seeing a smile on someone's face. It's because of this mindset and his own secure life, Martin is an optimist, even towards the bleakest of situations; though he has yet to live through a situation that requires true faith and hope.
Finally, Martin is very family-oriented. He treasures them immensely and really misses his family back home in Argentina. He knows that they have the best intentions for him and even tries to return the favor. Even after his move to Europe, he stays by his grandmother's side and assists her with chores and groceries. He always puts her wants and needs before his, but what did you expect? Latinos treasure family after all.

Brief History:
Born in the bustling South American metropolis of Buenos Aires, Argentina to José and Cecilia Hernandez, an experienced surgeon and a well reputed psychologist, Martin grew up in a life of luxury by Argentine standards. Yes, he did grow up in a carefree life, catered and relaxed--he rarely had much issues to worry about in his life as his parents sheltered him from most of the negative things the world have to offer.
Though that didn't stop him from hitting on the local girls and having an active social life. Charming, fun-loving and easygoing, he was well loved by most. Martin breezed through school, intentions of studying medicine and aspiring to be a doctor. Shortly after starting his medical studies, Martin's grandmother who lived in France asked her son Jose and his wife, if he could have Martin live in france for a bit. It had been a while since she had last seen her grandson since leaving Argentina, and she thought it would be good for him to pursue his studies in another nation. After much arguing and debate, both parents agreed to have their boy live in France for a bit.
Currently, Martin lives with his abuela there, surprised at the large zumen population the town had to offer, not to mention finishing his studies above everything else.

The silvery blanket of clouds sheltered the typically azure sky as aquatic droplets plagued the air, damp and humid to the tongue. Sans the few seagulls that were engaged in playful banter as they chased each other both in the air, and on Earth, there was only one lonely soul on the sandy surf of the French beach. Martin had been enjoying the salty oxygen for an hour or so now if he had been keeping proper track, just absorbing the air. With just a jacket sheltering his thin t-shirt and shorts, The Argentine didn't need to much to blanket himself from the intense coastal wind and the waves that roared against the damp beach sand. Lashing out towards him before treating in the sanctuary of the ocean. Back and forth. Back and forth...
"Sure its nice, but nothing like the beaches back home." The blonde mentally sighed, taking another refreshing breath of that air. He proceeded to take a few ginger steps closer towards the water, feet feeling the incredible and cooling sensation that Mother Nature's tears had to offer. Heaven. This was a slice of it, right here.
