But is it all that great as people make it seem? The 18th Amendment has been ratified for a little over two years now, making several Americans thirsty for alcohol once more. With the number of gang activity slowly rising, violence and corruption are forming within the uppity wealth and culture that makes this era unique. Jazz, parties and illegal booze are providing joy to the impish minded who seek thrill. One particularly successful gang is the one of the mysterious Mr.Vargas, a powerful mafia leader who has main control over the alcohol trade in New York City, and with the help of the wealthy and highly successful businessman known as Mr.Beilschmidt, the duo dominate city life.
However, beneath the dazzling glitz and glamour, the lower class continues to suffer as farmers and immigrants are still treated as lessers and struggle to make ends meet in such a business biased world. Nothing has changed for them.
A balance between the rich and poor, these are the Golden Years of America.
