Name: Elizaveta Emese Héderváry
Nicknames: Eliza, Liz, Lizzie (Annoying pet name.)
Age: 22
Date of Birth: August 20th
Gender: Female
Occupation: Police Officer
Heritage: Turul
Seed Rank: Heavy Seed
Birthplace: Budapest, Hungary
Appearance: Standing at 160 cm (5'3 ft), at first glance Elizaveta comes off as a average--as in her overall figure is a generic representation for the usual attractive female. Her frame may weigh slightly more than what most would expect, the extra weight is actually muscle (Which traditionally weighs more than fat.) from years of physical endeavors. Even so, that extra muscle remains hidden behind her slim and curvy figure. Her skin is of fair complexion, common for those of Central European ancestry.
The Magyar has a wavy crop of shiny chestnut brunette hair that ends a little past her waist. She rarely bothers to fix it up aside from the usual combing and brushing, it already looks nice enough so why bother? Her face can be defined as round and highly expressive, its easy to read her mood when she wants someone to. Her eyes are a shining green, almost like freshly cut emeralds, and just as--if even more expressive than her face. You know what they say, the eyes are the gateway into an individual's soul. By the average human standard, she is quite the looker.
As far as attire goes, Eliza is quite the fashionable femme. Its not really a surprise to see her wearing some of the latest trends, such as different sweaters, shirts, scarves, boots and so on. Though she only wears clothing that she feels comfortable in, you'll rarely ever see her wear anything tight or over the top and its never strange to see her wandering around with a hoodie and sweatpants on.
Her soul form would be that of the Turul, a mythical raptor that supposedly shaped the fate of Hungary. As an avian, she stands at around 182 cm (6'0 ft) at a length of 2.1m (7'10 ft) with a wingspan nearly 4.5m (15 ft) long, making her easily more immense than some of the largest known birds in existence. Her feathers are a sleek jet black with dark amber orbs accompanied with a powerful beak and talons to prove her strength as a huntress.
Distinguishing Features: An old flower clip that was a gift by her mother when she was a girl, along with a small black rose tattoo on her right ankle. The Hungarian woman also has a small brown feather that matches her hair in hue on the back of her neck, its one of the few things that she retains in both her human and animal forms.
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual--Mates For Life
Likes:
Flowers || Despite being seen as a tomboyish figure, Elizaveta always had a soft spot for the plants. She always keeps a flower plant or two in her apartment for both decoration and horticulture.
Marzipan || Those cute little treats designed to resemble figurines, Eliza admires them for their cutesy designs and overall taste. Now it's a matter of mastering the art of design that she really needs to improve on.
Competition || A sensation that has intrigued her since she was a child, Eliza is competitive by nature and always intrigued at the idea of competing with an individual. Simply for fun or in the form of a real clash, she loves the adrenaline it brings.
Hard Work || There are a few things more satisfying than being busy with her day, trying something new or accomplishing anything that needed to be done for that particular day, Elizaveta thrives in getting down and dirty when it comes to work. She has little patience for laziness and could care less if she were a mess by the end of the day, sometimes she forgets that she's covered in dirt
Hot Guys|| With a flawless six pack, unf.
Romance || Though not particularly open about it, (She'll most likely deny it.) Eliza is a hopeless romantic, often doting over romance movies and novels. She's hoping to share the same fate as most of the female protagonists she can relate to.
Listening To The Rain || It relaxes her, the sound of water outside her window or hitting the roof of her apartment building and a perfect sound to fall asleep to. Standing in it is also quite therapeutic.
Flying || Naturally being a bird, Eliza enjoys being in the air and free in spirit. It is no surprise to see her looming on a tree branch or hanging in some higher up place that most would consider a struggle to reach.
Yaoi ||
Dislikes:
Messing With Her Friends And Family || A surefire way to have your ass handed. Elizaveta values her them as the greatest treasure in her life, and will do anything to protect them.
Thinking About The Past || Its still a delicate subject for her, Eliza rarely ever talks about her life before arriving to France and intends to keep it that way.
Cat Calling || It's sexual harassment, what more could be said?
Her Hair Being Touched || Especially in the morning when she's still tired. It just feels awkward and uncomfortable to her.
Arrogance || No one likes cockiness and too much overconfidence. Elizaveta is no exception. While confidence is good, too much of it is a recipe for danger...and an annoyance.
Bullies || Assholes, jerks, meanies, whatever term you may use to define them, they're all bullies. The kind of people that Eliza has absolutely no tolerance for whatsoever. Expect a fist to the face or worse if you do happen to be one.
Being Confined || In both the physical and mental sense, Elizaveta is an independent thinker and soul. She certainly doesn't tolerate when others try and control her life for her. Its her life, her rules, not yours. And certainly don't hope for her be tolerant and obedient when she is forced to be submissive. [/ul]
Interests/Hobbies:
Fighting || Always a tomboyish youth, Elizaveta enjoyed scrapping around with other children, whether it be simply for fun or sending boys running home to their mothers fearing her fury. If angered she doesn't settle her problems with negotiation and words, fists are far much more effective. Even in adulthood, the woman wouldn't hesitate to knock out a few teeth if she were to be messed with.
Sports || Elizaveta always took a love in athletic endeavors. While she doesn't have the time to dedicate herself to participating in organizations and teams anymore, she plays for fun whenever she gets the chance. The Hungarian even takes pleasure in showing team patriotism when it comes to games and other events.
Shopping ||Now what girl wouldn't be guilty of taking pleasure in this hobby once in a while? When in the mood, Elizaveta finds herself at the mall or simply peaking through windows in downtown boutiques, whether it be to find some cute clothing or to scout for a new decoration for her apartment.
Kickboxing || Perhaps her favorite among sports, a violent and disciplined disport that she discovered during her teen years, it was the perfect outlet for her troubles. Whenever she's not doing busy or at work, it isn't a surprise to find her at the local gym having her routinely practice.
Writing || When alone at home, with just thoughts and memories to ponder about, the Magyar seeks security in the form of pen and paper. After a difficult day, following a nice long shower or bath, Elizaveta would cuddle up in bed or on the couch and write for hours, depending on whether her imagination would take her mind, mainly writing short stories or current event articles.
Horseback Riding || When Elizaveta was a girl, she fell in love with horses. Easily her favorite animal with their elegance and speed, she used to spend hours riding equestrians with her mother out near the public stables, befriending the creatures she rode. Unfortunately, she hasn't been on the back of one of these beasts in years.
Singing || Truthfully, Eliza is quite shy about her singing abilities, meaning she only sings alone to herself or to people she trusts enough to hear her do so. She doesn't believe her voice is anything amazing or spectacular even if she has heard otherwise. To those who do discover her secret hobby, she usually reacts with flustered bashfulness or shocked anger.
Hunting || She is a bird of prey after all and Eliza is only obeying the law of nature. Its an excellent way to vent sometimes, killing and eating animals smaller and weaker than herself. Even if some do take a more human appearance...[/ul]
Aspirations:
To Find A Mate || Due to her rare seed rank and even rarer species, Eliza is hoping to find someone whom she can have offspring with. A mythical bird mates for life, and being an intimidating, not to mention thin tempered one doesn't exactly aid her luck in the topic of love. Hopefully whoever she chooses will stay faithful and loyal to her until the end. Loving her for who she is as a person, instead of seeing her as a heavy seed to breed with.
To Be Accepted Into Back Into Her Family || The family always did have high expectations for Eliza, being a Heavy Seed and one of the few hopes to continue her bloodline and keep her species alive. The older she grew, uncles, aunts and older cousins tried to look for potential mates for her, thus more pressure on her. With her little incident before leaving home, she cut off ties with her family as she viewed herself as a monster and a disgrace. Though she never had the chance to hear their personal voices on it, she hopes that they'll forgive her and hopefully allow her back in.[/ul]
Fears:
Failure || While everyone dislikes this, Eliza has been longing appreciation for a while. While she usually tries (and successfully) keeps confidence in herself, there are those days and lingering memories that she feels as if she has caused too much disappointment to those she treasured the most.
Falling Ill || Her mother passed from an avian based disease when she was still a young girl, naturally she would be fearful that she may fall fatally sick like her and risk loosing her life from similar reasons.
Harming More Individuals || Its a dark secret of her, ever since the incident with a few boys at school and her stepmother, Eliza has begun to view herself as a creature of harm contrasting the true nature of her species. It wasn't her fault that she didn't have control over her natural hunting instincts, that and her reputation for getting into fights hasn't really helped her from being identified as a dangerous zuman that would threaten to hurt or eat one if they got one her bad side. Obviously an exaggeration she denies, luckily Eliza hasn't had much of a problem with this since arriving in France.
Being The Last One || Elizaveta is very self conscious on the topic that her species is quite rare, to the possibility that she very well may be the last living Turul in existence. She really hopes that this isn't the case, even if her species is meant to be rare.[/ul]
Personality: Generally speaking, when one first encounters Elizaveta, they'll see a pleasant faced young woman. Her outward character is composed yet cheerful, an interesting yet well-balanced mix. For the most part, she approaches both friends and strangers with a faint smile and interested expression. Friendly, approachable and always willing to lend a listening ear, most would consider to her to be a likeable being.
Beneath that collected and sweet exterior, Eliza is quite the spitfire. She never had the patience to be waited on, or even behave like a proper lady, it was never her style. Even if she has adjusted to what society would want from her; to behave like a disciplined female and not like a man, the Hungarian still has some of those aged traits that she had in her youth. Grime, mud, blood and violence were all things that not only unfazed her, but also amused her, all ideas that would certainly startle other the typical woman. Eliza is her own individual. Free-spirited, strong and independent. She rarely pays mind to what others may think of her or her opinions. She does what she wants, simple as that. The rules of bigotry never applied to her, as she always places her own beliefs before anyone else and will go to extremes to prove that she is correct. Most would perceive this as being stubborn, an infamous trait of hers. Eliza isn't easily influenced by the ideas of others and can easily see right through people and their lies, most of the time anyway.
Elizaveta, for the most part has average intelligence, if not a little higher than normal. She is witty and a thinker when she has the tolerance, able to twist the words of her rivals and confuse them, at times oblivious to her little mind game. With brains like hers, the woman is also quite mature and composed when her temper and mood aren't provoked. She'll easily take responsibility for her own actions and behave like an adult when she wants to be or if the situation calls for one. Due to her emotional detachment from her father while she was a child, she has a remarkable amount of independence, to the extent that she prefers working alone instead or working in a group. She'll tolerate group work if she has to do, but for the most part she'll prefer to work alone, or at least have things done her way for its the only way she gets things accomplished.
Because of her heritage as a national symbol towards the people of her country, there is an authoritative air to the woman. One of respect and leadership, a figure that one could look up to and trust. Even without trying, she appears to be reserved and regal. While this can be reassuring to some, it can be downright intimidating to others. Hence, why she tries to make herself seem as average as possible, to avoid any unwanted attention and to not frighten others. Unfortunately, being frightening seems to be a natural trait of hers, whether she wants it to be or not. Particularly when she's in a foul mood or patience begins to run out, that's when her raptor like nature begins to slip. And when her temper is lost, there is no telling what will happen. Most of the time, she'll react violently to whatever may be angering her, typically terrifying whoever may be near her around this time, or even rarer, attack them. While instances of assault have only happened few times in the past, Eliza is actually quite terrified herself of how she'll react once the avian part of her brain is activated. Her worst fear is in fact that she'll one day end up hurting someone she truly cares about, she's done it a few times and desperately hopes that she never will do it again. For those reasons, Elizaveta prefers to be away from the spotlight and live her life behind the scenes. That way, no one can be judging of her or her actions. Due to this, she certainly doesn't see herself as beautiful or even pretty for that matter, despite what other opinions may think or say.
Her insecurities make her quite sensitive to others opinions sometimes, even if she'll usually shrug them off or pretend that they don't bother her, they more than likely do. At this point in her life, she's learned how to mask her feelings and pretend that they don't bother her. She rarely cries, or at least in front of others. No, thats a sign of weakness and vulnerability, an attribute that someone of her character should never show. Eliza is also the kind that quickly blames herself--if she's directly involved with a problem. As previously mentioned, she knows how to take responsibility for her own faults and believes that everyone else should too.
Prominently, Elizaveta is known for her sense of justice, always standing and supporting those who can't do it for themselves. Some might view it as ironic, coming from a predatory creature, but both her parents educated their daughter to stand up to anyone who may be bothering you, or an innocent character being picked on, you stand up for them too. As a result of her background, the femme has a high appreciation for both family and friends, even if she's uncertain of how they feel for her in return, her love for them is unbounded and sincere. The happier side of Eliza is certainly appealing. She is loyal to close ones until the end, even willing to help random strangers who may need a hand and to some, even an older sister or even motherly figure.
Also, in part with being a zuman of avian descent, Eliza has a few quirks that only birds would be commonly found doing such as clicking her tongue, cooing, chirping
Family:
Brief History: Born in the heart of Hungary to Miklós and Emese Héderváry, the chief for the Budapest police force and an English language teacher respectively, Elizaveta had been blessed with a loving family. Despite the fact that her mother had been diagnosed with a crippling illness only months after having Eliza's egg, both parents remained optimistic and happily raised their new baby girl. From fear that their daughter might be treated differently if other Hungarian zumen found out she was the sacred bird that represented her country, the family vowed to stay quiet about her true identity. As Elizaveta grew older, it didn't take much to realize that she was different from most girls in her peer range. Never one for dresses and dolls, Eliza would have much rather been playing kickball, climbing trees and running barefoot with the other boys instead of all those "girly" activities. As a result of this, she was usually picked on by some of the other boys and girls for her behavior, landing in hot water at school and with other parents after certain confrontations turned violent. While Miklós and Emese were originally skeptic of Eliza's unfeminine behavior, they believed it was a phase and that she would eventually grow out of it.
Elizaveta was quite close to both her parents who were always loving and supportive of her. Her mother, a Turul much like herself, Emese used to tell her daughter all sorts of classic Magyar legends, such as the one of the Turul that eventually led to the Hungarian settlement in the Carpathian Basin, sparking a pride in her heritage and appreciation for who she was. Her mother was also the one who taught her how to cook, sew, clean etc. Miklós on the other hand taught his daughter how to be an assertive young lady and how to properly defend herself and not take crap from anyone. He also liked to spoil his offspring (He might have secretly enjoyed the idea of Eliza being a tomboy.), taking her on trips to the country, sporting events and camping.
However, nothing stays golden forever. When Elizaveta was eleven years of age, her mother finally lost her long battle with her disease. Shattering the family, this took a huge emotional toll on Miklós. When it came to his daughter and friends, he became distant and cold, almost shrugging off the fact that he had a child to care for. Still slightly distraught by her mother's passing and wanting to be a part of a warm family once more, Eliza had attempted many times to get close to her now aloof father, but he didn't pay much mind to her, no matter how hard Elizaveta tried to gain her father's affection once more. She tried behaving more feminine, such as wearing skirts and putting on makeup, but little avail in that field. It wasn't until two years later that Miklós found happiness once more, he fell in love with and later married an attractive woman, Mira Karmazin. Miklós had been happy, something he hadn't been in quite some time. Elizaveta, while originally disapproving with the notion of having a new mother, eventually settled with the idea. If her father was happy, then so was she.
It didn't work like that. Mira was your typical malicious stepmother. Always sweet and loving towards her husband, but flat out nasty to Eliza. The woman was seemingly unfazed to the idea of species rank and respect, despite being a zuman herself, made the girl's life a living Hell. She constantly put her down, blaming her for Emese's death, the reason for Miklós state of depression, humiliating her in public and seeing her as only a creature that would only bring harm into the world. Elizaveta felt powerless, due to fear of disappointing her father and wanting to keep her family happy. Around the roughly the same time, while at school she found herself being harassed by some of the boys she attended school with. Already irritable as a result from her home life, who would expect that exposing your inner form just once would be enough to spook people out. Deemed a fierce predator and a danger following the incident, Eliza found herself struggling to make friends and lonelier than ever before. Some nights, she found herself even crying to sleep with no where to turn.
As she progressed through secondary school, Eliza found herself turning alcohol as her one friend. Not by alcoholic terms per say, only when she really needed it did she steal booze from her father's collection or purchasing some from street dealers. The remedy for her sorrows. She also began dating behind her family's back after having enough trying to deal with some of the Heavy Seeds that they tried to set her up with. Not with anyone from school, no they were still wary of her. After graduation, Elizaveta attended a University in Budapest, studying in Criminal Justice and enrolling in the local police academy like her father. Everything had been going mediocre yet peaceful until one eventful night that Mira had been up to her usual bullying. She lost it, and took her pented rage out of the woman until her father came into to intervene and break it up.
Realizing that her outburst was the representation of what her stepmother told her what she was, Eliza left Hungary in shame--cutting off ties with her family and headed out for France to become a full time police officer, hoping one day she can make amends with her father.

"Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorn..."
The air was dry and crisp that morning, as to be expected for the average late autumn morning. Aquatic droplets of moisture had caked the windows of Buda Castle, frothy and muggy along the glass fringes as frozen flakes made their descent from the Heavens to the lowly Earth before them, destined to share a damp fate.
Angry? That would have been the perfect adjective to describe her state for nearly two centuries, first the Ottomon Empire and now the Austrian one had made a mockery of the once free spirited and fierce Magyar Kingdom that had gave shame to the Duchy of Austria....an ironic twist of fate indeed. She was still bitter towards the events of 1848, Elizaveta had been much more reserved in her actions, keeping an optimistic soul in that she would be independent as she was before Sadik invaded her lands, days of Renaissance glory and culture flourished with Matthias as king, life was simple and sweet as freshly grown fruit. The fruit was her spirit, now tarnished and aged over time, weak while still full of spirit and fight. A passion that would never die.
The feminine nation had been in her office for what was days, mainly keeping to herself and isolated to just herself and her thoughts. Emerald optics would stray to the striped flag that stood proudly in the corner despite all the hardships thrown against it, it stood as noble and honorable as ever. As long as she was standing, the banner would be standing where it was. With Gilbert now serving as the supreme German power in Europe, Elizaveta had played with the notion of a potential revolution towards the weakening Austrian Empire. It had to work this time, with Roderich humiliated and left vulnerable it was a golden opportunity. However as with all opportunities, the time would eventually come when the window of chance would close, and there was no way that she was going to skip the option of having the time to revolt once more.
That was when the offer came.
Emperor Francis had suggested to Elizaveta and her governors the idea of a dual monarchy, no longer just the Austrian and Holy Roman Empire. Francis had suggested the idea of the partnership between the two nations, it seemed like a fair enough deal. True she wasn't fully independent just yet, her citizens would be treated as equals when compared to Austrians and she would be able to function without having to be submissive to orders like an animal. It was progress. Throughout most of the day within the last few months, Ferenc Deák and herself had been discussing the idea, negotiating on how to satisfy the Austrian officials while giving her the independence that she desired. Deák was a patient man, a luckily for Elizaveta very easy to work with when it came to reaching an agreement when it came to this "compromise." That was when word came to her ears that Roderich and his representatives would be coming to Buda in hopes of forming a more stable outlook of what was to come in recent time. Easily, she accepted the invitation. Elizaveta craved to know more about the future of her freedom.
During the meantime, the brunette had been reviewing some papers that the statesman had presented to her. Orbs tranquil yet firm, hiding the anxiety of flames and years of sour emotions behind jade coals. Hard until there was a knock at the door. "Belép." ("Enter.") She called out as a servant entered the room. "Kisasszony Magyarország, Úr Edelstein és birodalmi kancellár Beust érkezett." ("Miss Hungary, Mr. Edelstein and Imperial Chancellor Beust have arrived.") The servant spoke as the woman exchanged with him a plain expression. "Köszönöm." ("Thank You.") She spoke as the servant was dismissed, prompting Elizaveta to stand up and exit the room, on her way to the waiting room of the lavish castle. Anxious and slowly growing impatient, Elizaveta had to remind herself to keep collected and stoic throughout the meeting, she didn't want to seem to eager or toss away years of effort due to her own lack of self control. She sensed that Roderich didn't have a high opinion of her, but what did she care? Elizaveta was never one to put attention on how others might have felt about her.
Soon enough, the Magyar had found herself in the waiting dorm, Statesman Deák present not too long before she had arrived looking at the nation with a solemn glare. As was to be expected so was Beust and Roderich. Deák then walked over to greet his guests. "Chancellor Beust and Úr Edelstein, a delight to have you here." He walked over to both of them with a handshake. "...And I hope we can make progress today in terms of the proposal." He told the two men as Elizaveta stood off towards the entrance, not quite needed just yet. "Chancellor, I was thinking that we could meet and discuss matters in my office while Roderich and Elizaveta stay here and perhaps talk about matters among themselves." He suggested to Beust. If there was going to be a dual monarchy, the two nations had to learn how to deal with each other, it would be now.
